SAVE’s Maternal Mental Health Access Program

This program supports pregnant and postpartum mothers through wellness education, community support, and access to care. It is designed to help mothers feel informed, supported, and more confident as they move through pregnancy and after birth. The program is free and open to mothers who want a supportive space to learn, connect, and ask questions.

The program is designed to feel welcoming, flexible, and easy to join. Mothers can gather in spaces where they already feel comfortable, whether that’s in community settings, partner locations, or at SAVE’s office. Sessions are informal and conversation-based, often shared over food and drinks, because connection matters. There is no strict format or requirement to attend every session. Mothers can come, listen, participate, or simply be present.

Session dates will be shared throughout the year as they become available.

Who leads the sessions?

Sessions are led by professionals in the field who work in maternal mental health.  At times, other professionals join the conversation, including people from healthcare, education, social services, or wellness. These are people who understand the questions mothers carry and how different parts of life overlap. Having different voices in the room gives mothers space to ask questions, feel supported, and connect mental health to everyday life in a real and practical way.

Topics

These sessions are conversation-based and flexible. Mothers are always encouraged to share what they’d like to see or discuss in future sessions as well. Mothers can join one or many, in any order.
